Syracuse Local Brain Bee Competition 2013

The Brain bee is a competition for high school students (grades 9-12), who have an interest in the human brain and neuroscience.

WHEN: February 9th, 2013  1:30-4:00 pm

The Champion of the Syracuse Local Brain Bee would be eligible to compete in a US National Brain Bee (Baltimore, MD, March 2nd-4th, 2013), and Champions of National Brain Bees could participate in the International Brain Bee.

Brain Bee Class

During the Fall of 2012 and into the winter of 2013, medical and graduate students from SUNY Upstate Medical University will teach an introductory neuroscience course for high school students, share their knowledge and excitement about the brain, and prepare high school students for the Brain Bee.  The course will cover the material from the Brain Facts book.
